description: This company based in Berkshire, specialises in the development of software for Telecommunications test systems.

They seek a Systems Engineer. You will perform all of the activities necessary to analyse a business process, extract the essential requirements, document them is a specification format. Analyse the requirements in conjunction with the architectural and technology opportunities and produce a high level system design which is in a suitable format to be used as input by the development implementation process. This will encompass both current products and the generation of platform based design for future opportunities. The focus will be on system analysis and design using both conventional (text) and object oriented analysis and design methodologies. You will also need to provide a SME role for project teams, including core team participation and SVT/EFT guidance.
You will need to be degree qualified with a BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering or suitable equivalent, along with 3+ years work experience in the development of real time systems, including high level design

SKLILLS –

Ideally both software and hardware appreciation Ideally Telecomms and Management systems knowledge and working experience Working knowledge of Object Oriented design methodologies (UML) Working knowledge of Rational Rose is a plus
