This world leader in the design of sophisticated radar simulators with excellent prospects for continued growth and profitability seeks a number of real time Software Engineers. The work requires a broad range of skills and provides an exciting and challenging role within a friendly environment.

Although our client is a small company with the start of New contracts you can expect job security for at least the next 18 months.

To apply for these positions you must be a UK NATIONAL (ideally with current or lapsed security clearance) and have at least 3 years experience in the design and development of complex software systems and have a good numerate degree. The successful applicants will be working in a small team developing a variety of Windows/PC based applications for real-time radar simulators.

You can expect to be involved in much more than just programming and a keen commitment to solving problems at both system and software level is required. A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Visual C/C++ 5.0/6.0 and the full software life cycle is necessary, with experience in any of the following an advantage: Real-time systems, VxWorks, radar systems, software / hardware integration, VME and defence projects.

The radar simulators are designed and built in-house, from digital and RF components, for both UK and overseas clients. They seek people with a real interest in making things work.

The salaries for these positions are negotiable, depending on experience, but will probably be in the range £25k - £35k.
